Exposición Fotográfica "El Arte de la Construcción" - Photography Exhibition: "El Art

Con Motivo de la Inauguración de la Sala de exposiciones de la CCHC de Temuco realizamos un proyecto Fotográfico con el fin de mostrar la construcción en la región de la Araucanía, desde un punto de vista humano, teconológico y que además se identificara con la región, todo esto desde mi concepto. Esto fue lo que traté mostrar en un trabajo que tardó 3 meses aproximadamente, visitando diferentes obras en las que hice mas de 5 mil fotos, de las que escogí 35. Durante la realización de este proyecto pensaba en que mostrar, como hacerlo, y como vertebrar todo esto, como conceptualizarlo. Fui observando algunos detalles, la incorporación de la mujer en todas las obras, lo que antes era casi impensado hoy aparece de forma natural, pude ver también muchas diferencias en cuanto a tecnología y seguridad respecto de lo que era la construcción hace un par de décadas, la forma como se desarrollan los proyectos es muy diferente. pero hay algo que no cambia, la creatividad, la capacidad de resolver, como aplicamos nuestros conceptos en los diferentes Oficios. es un Arte, el Arte de la Construcción.

On the occasion of inauguration of the Exhibition Hall of the Cámara Chilena de la Construcción (CCHC) in Temuco, we prepared a photographic project. Its purpose and my idea as a concept were to show the construction of the Region (La Araucanía) from a human and technological point of view, making it to identify with the region. I tried to show this idea in a work that took me approximately 3 months. I had to visit many construction works in which I took more than 5 thousand photos, from I choose only 35. During the process of this project, I thought about what to show, how to do it and how to connect everything. I was observing every detail, especially the incorporation of women in all the construction works (what before was almost unbelievable, today is normal).

I could also see many differences in terms of technology and security regarding what was the construction a couple decades ago. The way the projects are developed is very different. But there is something that does not change: creativity, the ability to solve how we apply the concepts in the different jobs. It is an art, the art of construction. Jean Pierre Boudon.
